Creating a savings goal in the app is simple, whether you want to use a custom goal or start with a pre-made template. Follow these steps to set up your savings target efficiently.
To add a new savings goal, follow this guide:
Navigate to “More” tab > “Savings Goals”.
You can choose between creating a custom goal or selecting a popular template to get started. If you already have at least one goal, tap the ‘+’ button in the top-right corner to create a new one.
Step 1. Set basic information
The first step includes filling in the basic details:
- Cover & Emoji: Choose a cover background and an emoji to personalize your goal;
- Name: Give your goal a meaningful name;
- Target amount: Enter the total amount you want to save;
- Saved so far: If you’ve already collected some funds, enter this amount here;
- Link financial account: Select an account to associate with this savings goal. Only one goal can be associated with each account.
Note: Any new transactions from this linked account will affect your savings total. If you don't want certain transactions to count toward the goal, unlink them on the transaction details page.
Step 2 (Optional): Set a contribution plan
If you want to define a timeline for your goal, you can:
- Input how much money you want to contribute per month. The app will automatically calculate your target date.
OR
- Select a target date using the date picker or choose between 3, 6, or 12 months picker;
- Once you choose a target date, the app will automatically calculate your monthly contribution to help you stay on track.
Note: If you don’t want a specific target date, you can skip this step.
Step 3 (Premium subscription): Share your goal
Users with premium subscription can share savings goals with others, allowing them to contribute together toward a shared goal. This is perfect for group efforts, such as saving for trips, gifts, or family plans. Read more about sharing goal here.
After completing all the steps, press the "Create Savings Goal" button.
With these steps completed, your savings goal will be ready! You can track progress on the goal’s details page, monitor contributions, and even predict the completion date based on your savings patterns.
