Synced bank account transactions

Transactions from a synced bank account are automatically categorized in Grassfeld. Each counterparty, such as McDonald's, has a default category like Fast Food that is applied whenever a transaction from that counterparty appears.

This means that when you make a purchase, Grassfeld links with your synced bank account, and your transaction is automatically displayed under the relevant category.

Adjust default category to counterparty

You can assign a category to a counterparty, so all income and expenses related to that counterparty are automatically tracked under that category.

Once a default category is assigned to a counterparty, transactions from that counterparty are automatically categorized, saving you the step of manually assigning categories to each transaction.
