How does the Grassfeld app work?

The Grassfeld app provides insights into your actual and future financial situation by retrieving and categorizing your (bank) transactions as well as keeping track of your budgets and saving goals.

Every transaction—whether synced from your bank or added manually—affects other key areas of the app, making financial management seamless.

How transactions work across the app

We have different types of transactions, each of which can be assigned to a specific category and/or counterparty. You can read about the types of transactions here.

Budgets:

• Transactions linked to categories automatically update your budget progress.
• Track how much you've spent and how much remains within each budget in real time.

Savings Goals:

• Contributions to savings goals are tracked through transactions.
• Transactions from linked accounts are included, showing progress toward your savings target.

Analytics & Reports:

• Each transaction feeds into analytics, giving you detailed insights into your spending.
  AI analyzes your transactions to predict future trends and generate personalized reports.
