Marking a transaction as a transfer ensures your money is accurately tracked, showing it as moved between financial accounts rather than spent or earned. This is essential for maintaining correct analytics.
How to do it:
For Existing Transactions: open the transaction details.
For New Transactions: create a new transaction for a manual account.
Once on the transaction page:
- Beneath the amount, tap on the ‘Transfer’ button;
- The system will automatically suggest transactions that are most likely linked as transfers;
- If none match, you can manually add a new transaction;
- Select the relevant transaction and click ‘Confirm’.
If no suitable transactions are available, Grassfeld will prompt you to create one immediately.
Please note: Transactions with split categories cannot be marked as transfer.
