Yes, if you share your account with another user, you can choose to share a (specific) budget. The transactions of both persons will then be counted against the budget. This way you have a clear view of your spending limit.
There are a few ways to share a budget:
- Share recurring budget in the last step of creation flow.
- Share event budget in the last step of creation flow.
- Share budget from the details screen.
Share budget in the creation flow
Start by creating a recurring or event budget and go through all the budget creation steps. Users with the premium plan can share the budget in the final step.
Setup Rights
- Chose edit or view rights;
- Select which budget categories will be available to the user;
- Once the above options are selected, the QR code will be updated automatically.
Share options
- Once you’ve set up your budget, you can share it with others by having them scan the QR code in the Grassfield application;
- Tab on the “Share Link” and the system sharing panel will be opened;
- Tab on the “Copy Link” and send it to the third party;
- In case you've shared something before, just select a member from the list.
How to scan QR?
- Open Grassfeld Application.
- Tap on the Scan button
- Scan QR code
- Join the Budget
Share budget from the details screen
- Open budget’s details screen;
- Tap on the ”More” button;
- Tap on the “Share” button;
- Share the budget.
Who can use this feature:
If you and the other party both have a premium subscription, you'll be able to share your budgets and saving goals with edit rights.
- Users on premium plan can share budget.
- Users on any plan can accept invintation to the budget with the view access.
- Users on premium plan can accept invintation to the budget with the edit access.
Note: Budget sharing with edit access is paused when the owner or the receiver of the budget needs to renew their subscription in order to share the budget again.

Shared Access is a centralized location where users can see all shared and received content.
