In this article, we will cover how to create event and recurring budgets on both web and mobile platforms. The budget feature helps you manage your expenses and stay on top of your finances. It allows you to easily create and manage your budget.
Who can create a budget?
Users on any plan can create a multiple event and recurring budgets.
Where I can create a budget?
- Available on the Web App (Desktop) version;
- Available on the Mobile Application version.
Mobile: Recurring Budget
Open the "Budgets" screen in the mobile application to create a new recurring budget. Access the screen from the "More" tab.
- Tap the “Plus” button located in the top right corner. If it's your first budget, tap on the “Recurring Budget” button;
- First Step. Enter budget name;
- Select budget period (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly);
- Select when you budget starts;
- Second Step: Select the financial account you would like to connect to the budget. All expenses from the selected account will be counted towards the budget
- Third Step: Enter total montly budget limit;
- Select categories and set spending limits; OR. Tap the “Auto” button and Grassfeld will analyze your spending to suggest budget categories and limits based on your transactions;
- Fourth Step: Manage notification;
- Last Step: Share budget with third party (Premium plan only). Tab on the “Create Budget” button.
Mobile: Event Budget
Open the "Budgets" screen in the mobile application to create a new event budget. Access the screen from the "More" tab.
- Tap the “Plus” button located in the top right corner. If it's your first budget, tap on the “Event Budget” button;
- First Step. Enter budget name;
- Select start date;
- Select end date (Optional);
- Second Step: Select the financial account you would like to connect to the budget. All expenses from the selected account will be counted towards the budget;
- Third Step: Enter total budget limit;
- Select categories and set spending limits;
- Fourth Step: Add task and to-do list plan what you want to stick too;
- Next step: Manage notification;
- Last Step: Share budget with third party (Premium plan only). Tab on the “Create Budget” button.
