Yes. Grassfeld supports ABN AMRO, allowing you to connect eligible accounts and automatically synchronise transactions and balances. The connection is made through Plaid, a secure banking connectivity platform, and requires your explicit permission.
How does the connection work?
When you connect your account, Plaid securely transfers the authorised financial information to Grassfeld, allowing the app to synchronise available transactions and balances.
The connection is read-only: Grassfeld does not make payments, transfer money or change your bank account settings.
Is it safe to connect my bank account?
Grassfeld uses several security measures to protect your financial information, including encryption, multi-factor authentication and biometric authentication.
Also, you remain in control of your bank connections:
- You choose which accounts to connect and give explicit permission for data access.
- You can disconnect an account whenever you want.
- Grassfeld does not sell or share your financial data with third parties.
Do I need to renew my bank connection?
Yes. Bank access consent is valid for a limited period for security reasons. Grassfeld will notify you when it needs to be renewed. You can then renew your permission through your bank's secure environment to continue synchronising transactions.
Which bank accounts can I connect?
Grassfeld supports major banks in the Netherlands and across the EU, as well as in the USA and Canada. UK bank connections are not currently supported.
Some account types have limitations:
- EU savings accounts: Cannot currently be connected.
- Credit cards: Availability depends on the bank and card type.
If an account cannot be connected, you can create a manual account, add transactions yourself or import a transaction file.
You can also disconnect your bank account or delete your Grassfeld account. If you delete your Grassfeld account, the information imported into it is deleted as well.
