Grassfeld lets you connect supported bank accounts from both the Netherlands and the United States within the same user profile and subscription. You can bring your banking activity together in one overview, even if your accounts use different currencies.
Can I connect Dutch and US bank accounts to the same Grassfeld account?
Yes. Grassfeld supports major banks in the Netherlands, the rest of the EU, and North America, including the USA and Canada. You can connect eligible Dutch and American accounts to the same Grassfeld profile.
To connect two or more bank accounts, you need a Premium+ subscription, which includes unlimited bank connections.
How does Grassfeld handle EUR and USD accounts?
Grassfeld uses one base currency for your account. It is selected during registration, but you can change it later in your profile settings.
Balances use the currency selected for your Grassfeld account. If you hold accounts in both EUR and USD, your overall balance may fluctuate due to exchange rate changes.
You can manually select a currency for budgets, savings goals, and debts, but you cannot combine different currencies within a single budget or savings goal.
Can I import transactions if my bank cannot sync?
Yes. If a bank or account cannot be connected, you can use Grassfeld's file import feature to add transaction data.
Supported formats include CSV, XLSX and XLS. Every user receives 2 free imports to try the feature. Additional imports are available as a separate one-time purchase:
- 10 imports — €3.99
- 25 imports — €6.99
Import credits do not expire and remain available until used.
Can I manage both accounts in Grassfeld?
Yes. You can view and organise transactions from both connected accounts within the same app. You can also create separate budgets and savings goals in EUR and USD, making it easier to track spending and savings in each currency.
